International nursing professionals and healthcare professionals

Experienced nursing professionals from the Philippines and international healthcare professionals – with targeted German language support, recognition assistance and structured integration.

The shortage of skilled workers poses major challenges for hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and other healthcare facilities in Germany. Saisy Germany supports employers in their international recruitment efforts and places qualified nursing professionals and other healthcare specialists from abroad.

Our particular focus is on experienced nursing professionals from the Philippines. In addition, we are developing international candidate pools for physiotherapy, medical radiology, laboratory analysis, surgical technology, and anesthesia technology – including in Egypt, Tunisia, Thailand, and Guatemala.

What sets us apart is the combination of international recruitment, early German language support, structured preparation for the German professional environment, and assisted integration. This gives employers not only access to international talent but also a better foundation for their medium- and long-term personnel planning.

From international recruitment to sustainable integration

Are you looking to hire international healthcare professionals? Together we will determine your staffing needs and develop a suitable recruitment strategy.

Nursing professionals from the Philippines – professional experience and international perspectives

The Philippines is an important starting point for our international recruitment of nursing staff. We focus particularly on nursing professionals who already have practical experience and wish to contribute their expertise to German healthcare facilities on a long-term basis.

Nursing education in the Philippines often comprises a four-year university degree program culminating in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). The program combines general education and nursing-related coursework with practical learning units and clinical experience. Specific training, professional licensure, and previous work experience are individually considered during the candidate selection process.

For German employers, this means: We consider not only the academic degree, but also the previous field of work, the clinical experience, the professional focus areas and the personal development goals of the respective specialist.

When making our selection, we take into account, for example, experience in the following areas:

  • Acute and general care

  • Intensive care and monitoring

  • Operating room service and perioperative care

  • Rehabilitation and long-term care

  • Further clinical specialties depending on the respective candidate profile

Actual suitability for a specific position depends on individual qualifications, professional experience, language skills, and the requirements of the institution.

Other international healthcare professionals

In addition to nursing professionals, we support the international recruitment of personnel in other healthcare professions. Depending on the project and candidate availability, we consider, among other things:

  • Physiotherapists for rehabilitation, therapy centers and medical facilities

  • Medical Technologists for Radiology (MTR, formerly MTRA) for radiological diagnostics and imaging procedures

  • Medical Technologists for Laboratory Analysis (MT-L, formerly MTLA) for medical laboratories

  • Operating room technicians (ORTs) for operating rooms

  • Anesthesia Technical Assistants (ATA) for anesthesia and perioperative care

Depending on the professional group and project, the candidates come from countries including the Philippines, Egypt, Tunisia, Thailand, and Guatemala. Crucial factors are the individual qualification profile, professional suitability, and compliance with the respective legal requirements for employment in Germany.

International recruitment with a structured language concept

Good German language skills are essential for successful integration into the German healthcare sector. Therefore, our preparation does not begin only after arrival in Germany.

Through our recruiting process and our collaboration with Jason-Heinen Management Consultancy Services in Manila, candidates are assessed during the selection process regarding their current language proficiency and their potential for further language development. Partially subsidized German language courses are available for suitable candidates; the scope and entry requirements depend on the specific program.

In addition to language training, candidates receive preparatory content on:

  • German culture and professional expectations

  • Fundamentals of nursing and nursing terminology

  • Communication with patients, relatives and colleagues

  • Daily work and collaboration in German healthcare facilities

  • Integration, orientation and preparation for life in Germany

The language and professional preparation is tailored to the individual candidate profile and the planned assignment. The required language certificates and professional credentials will be taken into account in the further course of the process, in accordance with applicable requirements.
